About 'Picudo' Fishing Boat Charters in Cabo San Lucas
Three Partners went in on a beautiful 37’ Bertram Sportfisher, and we are excited to have old friends and new friends alike, come fish with us. Morgan Lodge and his wife Mary live in Castro Valley California, and Morgan has been fishing the Cabo waters for over 20 years. Morgan is an Electrical Contractor, while Mary runs a Hertz car rental agency in San Francisco.
Mike Coldren, his wife Shawn, daughter Erin and son Dustin, all live in Alamo California, and enjoy Baja fishing and fun. Mike is an HVAC Contractor, and works all over California.
Captain Casey Carter is a Hawaiian born waterman with 25 years fishing experience in Mexico. Extensive traveling in Mexican waters on sportfishers from 38’ to 86’ has allowed Casey to see it all. Casey resides in Cabo with his Acapulco born wife Marcella, and his 2 Cabo born sons, Nico, and Mikey. He is bi-lingual and is a US and Mexican citizen. Casey’s father, now a retired Navy Captain, jump started Casey’s career at 2 years of age in San Diego, and as the years went by they fished together in the Atlantic, Pacific, and Indian Oceans, as well as the Gulf of Siam. Casey moved to Cabo and joined the fishing fleets in 1983. In the past 25 years of traveling and fishing there is very little that Casey has not seen. Of the many hard core Mexican veterans of that era, Casey is one of the few remaining, the last of a breed. Now involved with his partners on the 37’ sportfisher “Picudo”, Casey is ready to share his experience with everyone. If it is inshore small game, or getting the “big one” Casey is the Captain for you. Always a blast to fish with, no boat rides with this Captain, hard core, and get ready to fish.
Meet Captain Justo Gomez, our back-up Captain for “Picudo”.
Acapulco, Mexico born Justo began his fishing career on the Pangas of Cabo San Lucas. Owning and running the 23’ “Casmar”, Justo earned his reputation on the inshore fishing grounds around Cabo. Soon after, Justo purchased “Casmar ll” a 26’ baja cockpit sportfisher and turned his attention to offshore big game with fantastic results. For the last 8 years, Justo has run the “Sleeper” a 38’ Ocean sportfisher, from Cabo San Lucas to the Sea of Cortez. If it’s marlin, dorado, wahoo, tuna, you name it, Justo can catch them. This bi-lingual Cabo veteran is always ready to take ’em on, and always a pleasure to fish with. Justo has been fishing with Morgan, Casey and the gang for many years, and is one of the best.
